Purchase Tickets Early

Instructions on adding tickets to your registration

The Online Learning Consortium is offering tickets for an evening at Disney's Magic Kingdom or EPCOT with significantly discounted ticketsTickets need to be picked up at the OLC Registration area (special Disney ticket desk) in the conference space at the Dolphin.

This is the last time OLC's conference will take place during either of these events for the next four years, so buy a reduced price ticket (OLC is subsidizing the difference) and go enjoy! We hope you will enjoy participating in these unique special events!

**For conference attendees who have purchased optional item tickets (awards lunch, Disney tickets), there will be no refunds and no exchanges within 1 week of conference start date.

Online ticket sales for the Disney evening events will suspend after Oct 7. OLC will not sell any Disney tickets between Oct 8 - 13.  After Oct. 7, ticket purchases may be made onsite (as available) during conference registration desk hours.

Starting Oct. 8, OLC will not issue any ticket refunds or exchanges.  Anyone wishing to exchange one ticket for the other or sell their ticket altogether may do so with a fellow attendee using #OLCTIXSWAP.

Mickey's Not-so-Scary Halloween Party

Ticket purchase is required prior to the start of the conference during the registration process. Add ticket(s) to your conference registration.

Halloween Fun for Everyone

After the park closes, enjoy the transformation of Disney's Magic Kingdom into a family-friendly Halloween experience.  Ride your favorite rides, enjoy parades and fireworks, and even dress up in your favorite costume to collect candy throughout Magic Kingdom park. You’ll soon discover all the boo-tiful ways that the spirits of the season have transformed the park into a happy haunted hallows! Many favorite Disney Characters are dressed in Halloween costumes, too. So come celebrate and scare up a good time! The tone of the party is "not-so-scary," which means adults and children of all ages can enjoy it.

There is a blog of tips for this event.

As if we needed more reasons, here are 13 Reasons To Attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Entertainment Options:

  • Mickey's Boo to You Halloween Parade - 8:35pm and 11:15pm, steps off in Frontierland
  • Happy HalloWishes Fireworks - 10:00pm
  • Villains' Dance Mix and Mingle castle show - 8:00pm, 9:20pm, 10:40pm, 12:00am
  • Celebrate the Magic - 9:45pm
An OLC ConferenceTeam Favorite! This is a limited ticket event, which means you can enter the park after 4pm, and at 7:00pm anyone without a MNSSH wristband must depart. The remaining crowd is small; you can get on and off rides easily, the parade is amazing, and its the only time all the villans are out in the park. It is definitely not just for kids.

Please note: While FastPass reservation is available online during normal Disney hours, the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special event that does not provide FastPass tickets. With the number of tickets available for this event greatly limited, crowds are much smaller and attraction lines are so short that there is no point for Disney to offer FastPasses during this event. You will be able to either walk right on an attraction or experience very short wait times. This is one of the great things about this event. You can ride your favorite rides many times without the long waits!

Option 2

Entrance to EPCOT Food and Wine Festival + IllumiNations fireworks display

Thursday October 15, 2015   - 4:00pm - 9:15pm

Attendees will walk (10 minutes) or take the Disney "Friendship" boat from the walkway between the Swan and Dolphin hotels over to EPCOT.  Maps will be available.

Registered Attendees: $35 (Early Bird)  | $40 full price | $45 onsite

Guests: $55 (ages 3 and over)

Directions and Schedule (.pdf)
Attendees will walk or take the Friendship boat over to EPCOT.

EPCOT IllumiNations Fireworks

EPCOT's IllumiNations Fireworks

Ticket purchase is required prior to the start of the conference during the registration process. Add ticket(s) to your conference registration.

Enjoy an evening at EPCOT's Food and Wine Festival, including the IllumiNations fireworks display. Each fall, as the seasons transform, so too does Epcot—where dozens of unique flavors and fun experiences unfold across the park.

  • Nearly 30 international food and beverage marketplaces
  • Signature dining experiences with world-renown chefs
OLC Conference Team recommendations: EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is very crowded, but great food. The German beer garden is a lot of fun. You will spend at minimum $30 for a light dinner and a couple of drinks. There is free music entertainment by the American Pavilion. The rides in Future World are open as well until 9pm. Soarin' is tough to get on that late; do the single rider line at Test Track for faster access to that ride.
