Dear Friends,

Welcome to the 18th Annual Sloan Consortium International Conference on Online Learning! After serving in many capacities over the past 18 years, it is my pleasure to be the program chair for the 2012 conference.

We have an exciting keynote address and exceptional plenary speakers for the conference this year. The conference tracks have been updated to reflect the ever-evolving field of online learning. Our program will provide an outstanding offering of pre-conference workshops, accepted papers, invited talks, posters sessions, and an exhibit area of select vendors that support our field.

Best of all, you will have wonderful opportunities to collaborate and network with other educational leaders. So please come share your experiences with online learning colleagues in Orlando this October.

I am looking forward to see you there!

Eric E. Fredericksen
