Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to the 9th Annual Sloan-C Blended Learning Conference and Workshop! I am honored to serve as Program Chair for this conference, which will be held in my hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

I hope you will be as excited as I am about the many workshops and sessions that address this year’s theme, Perfecting the Blend, from a variety of engaging perspectives. We have selected several conference tracks—teaching and learning, research, leadership and administration, faculty support, and student support—that will examine the many facets of blended learning in our efforts to explore new technologies and pedagogies that will lead to increased student success and satisfaction.

We are also pleased to add a new feature to the conference program: the unconference! In this participant-driven setting, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, share practices, and build artifacts related to teaching and learning in digital environments.

I look forward to meeting you all at the conference in April. Please come ready to share your best practices and to enjoy our vibrant city!
