Focus Group
Plaza Court 5
Session Duration:
50 Minutes

***This focus group is open to all Blended Conference onsite attendees ***

Competency-based, adaptive learning provides educators tremendous opportunities to enhance instruction, but how so, and more importantly, how can faculty make content and learning adaptive?

During our focus group at this year's Sloan-C Blended Learning Conference, we invite you to explore authoring and instructional design tools that will allow instructors to take coursework and student engagement to a new level. Whether using pre-built rich multimedia content, publisher content, or their own online content, we'll discuss strategies for instructors to make it more interactive and adaptive.

We hope you will join us to share your insight, experience, and overall thoughts on personalizing the teaching and learning process. Specifically, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Review ways to configure an adaptive learning experience
  • Provide input on our flexible authoring environment and instructional design tools
  • Discuss the use of adaptive multimedia in combination with other resources
  • Experience new multimedia, interactive and analytic technologies
  • Share your thoughts on the role of competency-based, adaptive learning in transforming education
