A competency-based, adaptive learning approach personalizes the experience for students, while providing more tools to instructors, thereby enriching the overall teaching and learning process. Join us as we explore authoring and instructional design tools, as well as new research findings that will allow you to take coursework and student engagement to a new level.

Extended Abstract

Adaptive learning is changing the way instructors teach and engage students, enabling them to focus more time on interaction and motivation; gain increased visibility into student performance; better understand student learning styles; dissect the effectiveness of content; ease administrative tasks; and provide a higher level of personalized support. Whether using pre-built rich multimedia content, publisher content, or your own online content, we'll discuss strategies to make it more interactive and adaptive. We will also discuss adaptive learning research data and results that demonstrate improved learning outcomes, and Eduventures will join us to share perspective from its new report, "Maximizing Investment in Adaptive Learning."
