With the growing demand for flexible learning opportunities, many institutions are looking for ways to adapt traditional courses to meet diverse student needs. Science is often the most difficult subject to address, but with the use of technology and engaging hands–on lab experiments that students can perform at home, science instruction online can extend the student experience beyond that of a traditional classroom. This presentation discusses student success and learning, as well as the obstacles and opportunities related to developing an online or flipped science lab course. Come explore the future of blended learning in science education!
