This paper describes the application of the Flex mode of teaching and learning in two coursed at The College of Westchester (NY).

Extended Abstract

This paper describes the application of the Flex mode of teaching and learning in two courses at The College of Westchester (NY): Technical Business Communication and Writing for the Business Professions. It frames collaborative student writings in local and international contexts within best practice research that situates perspective sharing as key for student cultural literacy and engagement. The paper will review specific learning goals and related methods to align online and on-campus course session content and delivery. It will further explore the means through which faculty and students participated in synchronous and asynchronous international collaborations with a college in Panama.
