Welcome to the 2nd annual Launch Pad!

Showcase your startup at this year’s Sloan-C MERLOT Emerging Technologies for Online Learning Symposium (ET4Online) to network with other early-stage companies and gain access to your potential future customers in online higher ed!

The Launch Pad is a dedicated space at ET4Online for a select number of new educational technology companies who apply. If you have founded a company to solve problems faced by today’s higher ed online educators, apply to be considered for the 2014 Launch Pad.

Companies involved infuse the conference with the energy of educational technology entrepreneurs, creating a more robust ecosystem for innovation and heightened opportunities for learning and reflection.

Registered conference attendees should plan to attend some of the fabulous concurrent sessions and workshops, visit the exhibition hall to learn more about the products changing the online teaching landscape, and sit down with the entrepreneurs at the Launch Pad to get a glimpse of what tomorrow’s online learning spaces will look like.

We invite you to join us for three special sessions at the conference focused on innovation in online learning:

Wednesday, April 9  - "The EdTech Startup Handbook" workshop, presented from 10:30am - 12:00pm in Houston B. This one-of-a-kind opportunity will have you learning with Michael Staton of Learn Capital whose esteemed experiences in education, entrepreneurship, and early-stage investing will be shared with you to fuel the future of your startup.

Thursday, April 10 - "Igniting a Flame with Innovation and Intrapreneurship in the Online Learning Ecosystem," presented from 7:45am-8:15am in Lone Star A/B. Why is it essential for today's higher education organizations to become adaptive, innovative partners of edtech startups and what practices will make this happen?

Thursday, April 10 -  "Launch Pad Panel: Illuminating a New Ecosystem," presented from 8:15am-9:30am in Lone Star A/B.  In this plenary panel discussion immediately following the special breakfast presentation, Michael Staton will explore the opportunities and challenges in today’s new higher education ecosystem through a thoughtful panel discussion with representatives from the Launch Pad, cutting-edge edtech entrepreneurs selected to participate at ET4Online through a competitive process.
