Abstract

Assessing how satisfied your online learners are with their educational experience can help you to improve student retention, accreditation documentation and strategic planning.

Extended Abstract

Do you know how satisfied your online learners are with their educational experience? What types of data should you collect from your students to best inform retention efforts? How can these data support your accreditation activities and guide your strategic planning? Information regarding the Ruffalo Noel Levitz Priorities Survey for Online Learners (PSOL), which has been utilized by more than 100 institutions over the past three years will be featured.

Lead Presenter

Julie Bryant, Associate Vice President of Retention Solutions at Ruffalo Noel Levitz, works directly with colleges and universities throughout North America in the area of satisfaction assessment. Ms. Bryant is responsible for client service to more than 2,000 institutions using the Ruffalo Noel Levitz family of satisfaction-priorities assessment instruments, including the Priorities Survey for Online Learners™. Ms. Bryant provides service to educators by assisting them in determining relationships between perceptions of importance and satisfaction of students. She identifies ways these data can inform retention planning and be shared with the campus community. She also oversees the annual national reporting and trend analysis of these data. She has authored and contributed to white papers on topics related to student satisfaction.
