Abstract

Valuable class time is often consumed by technology training. Learn how schools are taking technology training out of the classroom through their LMS.

Extended Abstract

Are your instructors losing valuable instruction time to technology-related questions? Teaching staff are increasingly expressing frustration over the loss of core subject teaching time in order to get students up to speed on technology. This presentation will showcase examples of how schools are using their learning management systems to deliver technology training embedded directly in coursework to reach learners at all levels of the technology adoption curve. Through LTI integration, students can receive the technology training they need to be successful without leaving their LMS. Learn how an online integration tool can work within your LMS to help students and faculty utilize technology for enhanced classroom learning. Whether your school uses Blackboard, Canvas, Brightspace, Sakai, Moodle, or any LTI-compliant system, you'll see specific examples of how a simple integration tool can take the distraction of technology training out of the classroom to keep the focus on learning.
