Between 2009 and 2012, federal financial aid fraud grew 82 percent, with more than 85,000 people potentially participating in fraud rings, accounting for $874 million during this disbursement period. The product demonstration will outline technology tools and procedural methods to combat the growing fraud in distance education programs.

Lead Presenter

As a regional partnership manager for ProctorU, Jason Rupert has attended educational conferences all over the United States. Since joining the partnerships team in 2013, he has spoken to audiences at the Sloan Consortium’s ET4 conference in Las Vegas, Clemson University and Georgia College & State University. Rupert gained management experience while working in the mortgage industry and joined the ProctorU team in 2011. He now oversees a team to develop relationships with institutions of higher learning across the southeastern United States.
