Soomo creates interactive webtexts designed for learning. We work closely with schools to align the text, interpret the analytics, and increase success.

Extended Abstract

Soomo enables students to succeed where a traditional textbook would fail. We do this by working with the school to carefully align what students read, watch, and do with the learning outcomes of the course. Hundreds of questions are interwoven into the webtext, asking students to check comprehension, engage analysis, or render an opinion every few minutes. The analytics provided by all this student activity give instructors a detailed view of which students most need assistance, or encouragement, in order to succeed. The engaging resources, active learning, and faculty intervention combine to dramatically increase success.
