Thirty diverse higher education institutions collaborated to create more than 80 digital case stories about exemplary teaching practices on 19 themes. Faculty developers identified inventive ways to integrate the case stories into their professional development programs. All the stories and resources are freely available on the ELIXR website at:

2011 MERLOT Award Winner - Faculty Development

Lou Zweier Lou Zweier is the Digital Narrative Design Lead on the MERLOT ELIXR project. He collaborated with project team members to develop the digital case story architecture and prototype cases for the project. He also led the development of materials and guidance for case story development by project partners. Mr. Zweier is Director of the CSU Center for Distributed Learning, where he facilitates multi-campus teams of faculty and staff in creating online learning resources that address strategic academic needs for the California State University.
